Arcade Fun with Daddy

Over the weekend we made a trip to the mall because I had to return a few things. Before we left the house Morgan ran to get her poodle purse and asked to have a few coins to put in her purse so she could buy herself something. When we got to the mall she was drawn to the flashing lights and noises of the tiny arcade. Instead of playing at the play place and buying herself something, she opted to play some games with her daddy!
She had to have the PINK car!

I love Patrick's smile in this one.

Trying to shoot bucks on a hunting game. I think the gun was as tall as she was!

A glimpse into the future...can you imagine what she'll be like at sixteen?!?!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Happy St. Patrick's Day from our little leprechaun! Or as Morgan calls it "Happy Daddy's Day!"

Our little jokester has been full of life lately. While we've been at home more the past few weeks that doesn't stop her from being on the go. One of her favorite things to do is say "Made you look!" I wish I knew which kid at school taught her that because I'd like to tell him/her to quit it! The other day Morgan said "Mom! I'm BLEEDING!" When I rushed over she said "Made you look!" and laughed hysterically. I didn't think it was funny :) She especially likes to tease her daddy with that saying. Another of her favorites is "Move your meat, lose your seat!" Or as she says it "Lose your seat, lose your butt!" HAHA. She's so funny.

She's also been very busy practicing writing. She is getting very good at writing her name, and has recently learned how to write our last name!

I am proud of her that she is working so hard at school. We are all having to do a little change at our house with homework needing to be done every night and remembered the next morning (that's our biggest challenge). We are trying to make some changes to our morning routine to get us all ready for school to start in the fall. I can't believe my baby will be going to Kindergarten in less than 6 months!

Morgan is very excited for warmer weather so she can play outside. She has been on her swing set a few times this month, but our yard is pretty swampy right now, so she can't stay out for long. Ballet continues to go well, and soccer season starts April 2nd. I think we are all ready for warmer weather and the return of sunny days.

Here's hoping you have a wonderful St. Patrick's day, have a green beverage (I had a Shamrock Shake from McDonalds!) and enjoy your day!

Egyptian Goddess

For Christmas Morgan's Papa (my dad) bought her a pair of 100% Egyptian cotton pajamas while he was in Egypt for vacation. Morgan really wanted to wear them tonight and I thought they would finally fit, so we tore the tags off and slipped them on. They are SO SOFT and she looks absolutely adorable in them! So here's our Egyptian Goddess in her Egyptian pajamas!
